The Hague District held a “Performing Arts” Day

On Saturday, 5th October 2019, The Hague District held a “Performing Arts” Day at a local performing arts venue called Mooof.

Performing Arts

A professional company, Hannah King Productions, came to The Hague to work with the girls in a series of workshops.

We had singing, dancing and acting classes in the various age ranges from Rainbows to Rangers. All the girls had a chance to take part in each workshop and at the end of the day, the teachers brought everything together and there was a performance for the parents.

During the performance we also celebrated the 40th Birthday of 3rd The Hague Guides, with cake of course!

Diane, BGO Chief Commissioner and Emma, Benelux and France County Commissioner both attended the event and celebrated with us.

Diane presented the Baden Powell award to 4 members of 3rd The Hague Guides, Amber, Eva, Maren and Saskia.

This award has now been retired and girls in all sections can now work towards their Gold award by completing all 6 themes in the new programme, plus an additional challenge.
